We are Resuming In-Person Classes !

The Monadnock Mindfulness Practice Center will resume in-person classes and sittings starting August 29, 2022.

It has been a long hiatus from gathering together to share meditation sessions and discuss mindfulness practice. The Center is excited to once again offer this opportunity to share a quiet space for nourishing silence with others –– and to exchange questions and insights about mindfulness practice in daily living.

Weekly Sittings

  • Tom's Monday night sittings from 6:30-7:30pm will offer a hybrid option of in-person and Zoom for people not ready to resume in-person sittings.

  • Ginnie's Tuesday night sittings from 6:30-7:30pm will be in-person.

  • Thursday morning meditation sessions with Aylene will start up October 6th.

Upcoming Events

Future events to anticipate in the Fall include an Introduction to Mindfulness Practice 8-week course; a course on the Immeasurables: Love, Compassion, Joy, and Equanimity; Thursday morning meditation sessions with Aylene beginning October 6; and an evening birthday party to celebrate the Center’s milestone twenty years. Save the date! Friday, September 23, 6:30-8:00 at the Center’s Roxbury St. location.

Reminder that our sessions are open to all levels of experience with meditation and mindfulness. The cost for participation is by donation. No one is ever turned away for lack of funds.

Safety Measures

In re-opening, The Center has put measures in place to maximize participants’ health and safety.

  • Face masks and hand sanitizers will be available for those who wish to use them.

  • A Hepa air purifier will be in use to keep the air as filtered as possible.

  • Safe distance will be practiced.

  • Anyone experiencing symptoms of any kind is asked to not attend sessions until all symptoms have been resolved.
