During this interactive 5-week class, Tom will:
1. Lead a guided meditation of fundamental mindfulness meditations followed by a discussion and variations on the meditation.
2. Share attitudes that can transform one's meditation practice. These will include learning to work with the mind we have not the mind we wish we had, realizing that what's in the way IS the way, and more.
3. Offer practices which don't take much time and can be done during the day which can result in a calmer and quieter mind during meditation.
· Each week participants will try out one of the meditations and one or more of the daily practices offered and we will share our insights and discoveries in the next class.
· This course is designed both for beginners and experienced practitioners.
· Suggested donation is $95 with a sliding scale available.
